More About My Family Child Care When my son was born in 2000 my husband and I had a very hard time finding the type of quality childcare that we were looking for.
That's why I decided to start my child care business. I wanted to provide the kind of quality child care for other families that I myself was
having so much trouble finding. I love spending time with children and being part of their growth and development. I enjoy not only
playing with but also teaching children while they are in my care. Not only things like their A, B, C’s and 1, 2, 3’s but also things like
following the rules, sharing toys, knowing right from wrong and how to be a good friend. During the school year I offer a preschool
program and I have a story lady that comes in once a week. I participate in a food program and I send home a monthly newsletter
that includes meal menus for the upcoming month.
