More About My Family Child Care I have been licensed for 32 1/2 years, year-round program, all ages. Food program that offers nutritious and well balanced meals. Fenced yard, toys and activities geared to all ages. We celebrate birthdays and 3 major holidays-Christmas party with Santa and parents; Valentine's Day; Halloween. Twice a month, Miss Jill from Travel Tots, comes to teach the children about geography. My philosopy includes less structure and more play time as I believe children need to use their imagination and creativity. A consistent, daily routine is very important as well. I love my profession and every child I care for. Other Comments: I am located one block south of the intersection of County Road 42 and O'Connell Road. Children walk to Harriet Bishop Elementary as the school is right in my backyard. Children do not cross a street when going to and from school.
