More About My Family Child Care:
In addition to providing a loving and safe environment, I encourage self-help skills, attention to tasks, direction following and social skills. I have completed an extensive literacy training program, SEEDS, which included topics such as phonological awareness, letter knowledge, written expression and quality interactions. I purchase the monthly curriculum Funshine Express and enrich that with my numerous files collected from my classroom experience, daily children's literature, music from the Sing and Learn McMillan series and teaching basic sign language.
